Downtown Dream Living at Thirteen 21 Lady Lofts

It’s been over a month since the Grand Opening of a brand new apartment complex in Downtown Columbia, Thirteen 21 Lady (otherwise known as 1321 Lofts). At the opening reception, the elegant new apartment complex featured a bar stacked with refreshments, delicious hors d’oeuvres catered by the Spotted Salamander and a performance by The Mark Rapp Group lead by SC Jazz Ambassador himself. I happened to be in attendance and decided to find out more about the apartments.

According to Historic Columbia and the SC Women’s Rights and Empowerment Network, “in a city where women comprise roughly half the population, women are represented by just 4 percent of Columbia’s 145 public streets and landmarks named for influential people in history”, quotes The State. The Lady Street happens to be one of these four! So what would it feel like to call Thirteen 21 Lady your home address? I asked for a tour and was invited to explore the luxurious new apartments and lavish amenities the new residents will get to enjoy on daily basis.

The first stop on our tour was the Fitness Studio. My guide proudly explained that the Studio is still in the process of being expanded to include more equipment to accommodate young professionals, singles and urban families who are the ideal residents for the new apartments. I was told that the Thirteen 21 Lady facility was designed with consideration for the growing focus of the up and coming professionals and entrepreneurs on health, wellness, and fit lifestyle. In addition to the Fitness Studio, 1321 Lofts feature a pool and a co-working style shared spaces - both rare and important amenities for the Downtown Columbia living.

Next, I was given a tour of several floor plans - furnished and styled for display purposes. What caught my attention were these large, beautiful windows! The views revealed gorgeous sights overlooking Downtown Columbia. The large, wall-length windows provided a lot of natural light and set quite an uplifting mood in the living room area. I’d imagine that spending time in such a setting could be quite lovely for someone who enjoys Columbia living and appreciates the great vantage point for keeping an eye on the city (quite literally).

The bedroom of the floor plan that I got to explore featured another large window with a view. As someone who struggles to rise as early as I must, I thought that a new resident might feel a little better getting up to such a glorious outlook! The built-in closets are designed to save space and equip residents with a convenience of having it all in one place.

My final stop was the bathroom space, after which I was walked over to a different floor plan. If you wish to see more, please watch the video montage that is presented in the very beginning of the article! I truly enjoyed touring Thirteen 21 Lady (or 1321 Lofts) and can confidently say that the residents that choose this location as their home will be likely to enjoy every minute they spend there - be it relaxing, working, resting, exercising, or just living their lives. The location is excellently placed with convenient access to Main Street business district, Soda City market, Richland Library and many other downtown hotspots. If you are shopping for a new home, reach out to the leasing office and ask them for a tour! This is definitely a place worthy of your consideration.
